The console's smooth texture allows for easy-to-clean and easy-to-manage maintenance. This sink is perfect in our 1918 home's powder room. We appreciate the reasonable price compared to what it would have cost to get a cabinet, countertop, and sink. The quality is good and our plumber had no issues installing it. However, note that standard pipes don't work; underneath we have to have a black pipe before you get to the prettier chrome pipes we envisioned. These came in one box and they weigh a ton--I literally sprained a muscle in my leg trying to push this box 2 inches (Fedex delivered them to my front yard before a storm instead of to the porch). Be prepared for how heavy they are! That being said, they're beautiful and solid and will hold up my Artifacts tub beautifully. I warred with getting these or the pedestal base, but due to replacing a bathtub with a unique plumbing layout, the feet were the best option if I needed to have my drain assembly facing the room.
