I purchased this same item 5 years ago for a rental cabin and am purchasing it again for me next one. I didn't want to pay a lot for it, but also wanted it to look good and last, so chose this due to the good reviews. When I had the first one installed the plumber said he had never heard of the brand but was surprised at how good it was. The original brushed chrome still looks beautiful. Installed this trim kit 5 years ago and have been satisfied with the value of this unit. The chrome finish is still pristine. All the parts are brass - no plastic - which makes this unit feel higher end. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't respond quickly to temperature adjustments once the knob has been turned on to your initial setting. It will get warmer or colder eventually (I'd say in about 20-30 seconds), which isn't as quickly as I'd like. Unclear if this issue could be fixed by replacing the cartridge.. Mike. Buffalo, NY. Originally ordered it for the shower remodel and it came in but the diverter was damaged a d reordered a new set only to find several pieces were missing in the box. We ordered from Delta directly, ordered one from the showroom and ordered one online just to get the shower done and see which venue would get it to us first.
