Unit was just put in and is working very well. I have it on high and it is still very quiet. Went with this larger BTU due to the size of my sunroom and due to the Florida Sun beating the daylights out of it. It is holding the temp at a comfortable level at nearly 100 degrees outside. Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. Took about 24 hours to dehumidify our piano room and get it to the humidity level I set it to (from 55% to 45%). It's not the most quiet appliance, but it is very effective and isn't in our main living space, so it's perfect for us. So far the manual setting works pretty well. I set it to 45% and it automatically turns on and off to keep the humidity level around there. I have a hygrometer near the piano that tracks humidity level and it's staying very steady since getting this dehumidifier. I'm also I glad I got the one with wi-fi connection. You can control everything through the app– turn the dehumidifier on/off; change the modes between Auto, "Dry" (the manual mode), Quiet, Fan, and Continuous; and fan speed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was honestly a little skeptical of why such a small fan was so expensive but wow so I stand corrected! This thing is awesome! It has a crazy range from gentle breeze to full wind tunnel, and the wind is smooth and steady the entire time. It covers and where and any way you want while firmly asserting its quality at all times. I haven't tried out all of the different modes and settings yet but I'm very excited for them.
