Ok so these are ok but have some quality issues and do not block the light 100 percent. As shown in the pictures some of the stiching is not great and they do not blockout 100 percent of the light from outside. So for a blockout curtain I would not recommend. My appointment doesn’t have much sunlight, but I purchased these curtains mainly to protect myself from cold drafts coming from the living room window. The curtains look very attractive, they drape nicely and cream color matches my couch. I steam ironed them on the front side before hanging them up. The reverse side has no lining, but rather looks and feels like a thin layer of rubber. Maybe in a summer I would want to use them as a sofa cover. Water resistant? Good idea? The care instruction says “machine washable”, but nowhere it mentions how the curtains supposed to be dried. And because of the rubbery reversed side, I would not risk putting it in a drier.
