These fit perfectly into a pair of handmade leather boots that are just a bit too snug without proper care. I am happy with this purchase. It was packaged well, and even arrived a day early. After seasoning the humidor, I did put a Xikar hygrometer in it, because this unit does not have one. It does have temperature control, and a cool light. I live in Michigan, and sometimes my home is around 60 degrees. My temperature on the humidor is holding well at 70. The shelves are more durable than the Newair CC-300 I used to own ( those were stapled together, and fell apart easily). I do like the Boveda holders that slide under the racks. The pegs are also a nice gesture, if they fit into the holes properly. Are there areas for improvement….Yes! Is it better than the last model …Yes! Is it fairly priced…Yes! All of our Cedar Log Furniture is crafted using northern white cedar. We harvest our cedar locally from its Minnesota location. We even operate our own cedar sawmill that produces the lumber for our furniture! Northern white cedar is extremely light and quite soft but boasts excellent decay resistance and strength despite these characteristics. Cedar Log is our most complete collection and one of our most popular lines of furniture. Seeing as we have more than 25 years of experience building it, we have it down to a science – as such, no one can boast a more solidly-built, beautiful natural log furniture.
