I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? I accidentally sucked up a metal door stopper that had broken and I immediately stopped the machine and took it apart to find the piece. Found it…in the bag. I love this little machine. Picks up real well one button press and you have your hand vac. Keep in mind this is not a full size vacuum cleaner it is an auto broom. The cup is small but powerful. If I was to change anything it would be the cup size. Make it a little bigger. I have 3 cats and two full size Aussies, that is why I love my Electrolux. On the poop deck, there’s navigational area with 2 metal steering wheels for the captain and 1 wooden cabin. There are metal railings surrounding the beak deck area toward the quarter deck area. You can easily spot 2 rows of numerous metal cannons on both side of the hull. In addition, you will find supplementary crafted metal parts on the ship such as anchors, lantern, statues, and much more. There’s also a wooden rudder held with metal to help the ship maneuver in the right direction. An attached wooden stand with a nameplate engraved "HMS Surprise 1794" is standard on this model. Impressive model! I haven't even removed it from the packaging as yet. I am a woodworker and planning to construct a case for it as I did for the Independence, a model I finished this year. Only question I have is about the masts when first received. Upon opening the top of the shipping box I remember all the sails were 90 degrees to the hull. Now after 2 days, all the sails are 30 degrees to the left. I included a shot looking down at the model. I was interested to know if others have noticed this or am I mistaken? Also found this after unpacking (see picture) of rear mast warped at top. The other noticeable item was the size of the rigging blocks, obviously too large but can be overlooked as they seem to accentuate the model when viewed as a whole.. Greg. Gilroy, CA. These work very well for preserving food. I have used them for vegetables, sliced meat , and a roast.
