Bought this for my sphynx cat who can’t stay outside for long periods of time but I want to let him get some fresh air! Having the solid weatherproof roof helps block any sunlight and keeps him shaded. The size and everything is great because he’s a lounge cat he isn’t super active and really uses this to lay and listen to the birds and get fresh air. My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside. This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. Our steel cat cage is more sturdy and durable compared to wooden cat cages, and is equipped with two doors on both the front and rear sides. One door can be connected to the window, and the other can be used for easy access and interaction with cats.

Overall this catio is great. It was a little hard to build just because the parts were missing their stickers to identify them. I was able to figure it out and build it myself in about 3 hours total. The patio gets a little hot as it’s metal. So I added some greenery to provide some shade and privacy. My cats are a little skittish. I like that the catio has multiple shelves. I took off the hammocks because, again, my cats are skittish. The option to take off a piece is great since I have a window door for the cats to come I. And out of the house at their leisure. I had to add some shims because my concrete is at an angle to drain water. But that has nothing to do with the catio. I added some catnip at the bottom. It’s doing nicely. I am thinking of also adding some real grass at the bottom so my cats can roll on it. I have two cats. If of them is in there constantly. The other one is still deciding if she likes it. This catio is great, it only lost a star because it was a little difficult to build, it’s gets a little hotter than I would like (fixed with greenery).
