My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside. This is amazing! Although the directions were a bit hard to interpret from just pictures, it's well worth the learning curve. I sat this right up against my house and adapted it so my two cats can have free access when my house window is open.
