My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I added mesh wiring instead. The enclosure is 3 sided and backs up to the wall which works perfectly fine in our case as it gives us access to open and close our windows and shutters.. Arb65. Ca-usa. Bought this for my sphynx cat who can’t stay outside for long periods of time but I want to let him get some fresh air! Having the solid weatherproof roof helps block any sunlight and keeps him shaded. The size and everything is great because he’s a lounge cat he isn’t super active and really uses this to lay and listen to the birds and get fresh air. It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas. We were missing 7 main screws but nothing we couldn’t get at the stores. We have three heavy/fat cats. Overall I’d say if you would like a safe and spacious enclosure for your cats this is nice.. I bought this for my senior lady, who likes to be a little elevated, but doesn’t need to be on top of a tall cat tree. This is a little too high for her to jump up to on her own, so I gave her pet steps to reach it. She has laid claim to the top level and absolutely loves the furry fabric and large space (she’s a full-figured girl). Her brothers have been competing for the giant cubby at the bottom. I have two 12 pound 1-year old cats, and I bought this thinking one would sleep on top and one would sleep in the basket. Of course they tussle over who gets the top and neither uses the basket at all. Only once I've seen them sleeping on the top together, so it will fit both. I took away one star because the tree is not as sturdy as I hoped. It's well made and was easy to assemble, but it sways a bit since everything is balanced on the single tree trunk, despite tightening as much as we could. I put a small plastic bin full of landscape rocks on the base to counterbalance so it doesn't sway too far or tip over when a cat leaps onto it. The mid range height is perfect for placement behind our sofa, so it doesn't block the view of the TV from the kitchen. The top level is very soft and both cats love to stretch out and sleep there. I did not attach the large fluffy ball, because it contains a rather annoying rattle. Overall this is nice, but definitely for 1-2 cats that aren't too big. I think the listing said 3 cats up to 22 pounds each, but that doesn't seem realistic in my opinion. It's a good looking cat tree that blends into the decor better than some others.. Katie. Cat Villa is very well made, nice looking. My Persian is 9 months old. She wanted to explore and help us build it. My son and myself built it together, you really need 2 people when it comes to installing the glass doors. The glass doors were not easy to adjust to get the lock at the bottom of the glass door to lock into the grove for the lock latch to fit into the grove. It has instructions but they are not the greatest. Also some of the stickers number were missing from panels and some of the stickers were placed on the wrong panels. So you have to have patience and really pay attention to the placement of the screw holes. You might want to have some coffee or beer when you build it. My Persian cat loves it. I really like the size and shape of this litter box, it fits nicely into the corner. My cat had a little trouble using it at first because it scared him, but he uses it now.
