The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas.
