This all wood cat tree was very easy to assemble in 10 minutes. No tools needed. Just screw in the threaded pole and 2 of beds tight. Plus vacuum it and you are done. My cat jumped right into the nice size 15” wide bed there. Its plenty sturdy for my 2 - 12 lb. cats. And has a nice firm 24” x 20” sq. wood base . The reason i gave it 4 stars because IT IS NOT CHOCOLATE BROWN as pictured which is what I wanted. It is a med beige tan, see photo. Disappointing but I am keeping it and my two cats love it. I have two 12 pound 1-year old cats, and I bought this thinking one would sleep on top and one would sleep in the basket. Of course they tussle over who gets the top and neither uses the basket at all. Only once I've seen them sleeping on the top together, so it will fit both. I took away one star because the tree is not as sturdy as I hoped. It's well made and was easy to assemble, but it sways a bit since everything is balanced on the single tree trunk, despite tightening as much as we could. I put a small plastic bin full of landscape rocks on the base to counterbalance so it doesn't sway too far or tip over when a cat leaps onto it. The mid range height is perfect for placement behind our sofa, so it doesn't block the view of the TV from the kitchen. The top level is very soft and both cats love to stretch out and sleep there. I did not attach the large fluffy ball, because it contains a rather annoying rattle. Overall this is nice, but definitely for 1-2 cats that aren't too big. I think the listing said 3 cats up to 22 pounds each, but that doesn't seem realistic in my opinion. It's a good looking cat tree that blends into the decor better than some others.. Katie. I thought it was nearly perfect in the design but I think one of the attributes is not ideal. The hammock in the middle is kinda low to the platform below it, making it kinda difficult for the cat the get from the platform to the left of the hammock to the next one, slightly higher on the right. I wish the hammock was a board or higher up. Other than that, it’s really good. My friend and me built it in under an hour. I got it because it’s just about 18” below the tops of my kitchen cabinets. So she can climb the tower then traverse the cabinet tops. I have been thinking about removing the hammock and replacing it with a board. We shall see. This is a nice, tall cat tree with a lot of different places for cats to climb, scratch, and lounge. At over 70 inches tall, it gives cats a great vertical space to explore. The many perches make it easy for them to move up and down the tower. My cat is a large, 16-pound boy with a pretty big frame, so I was initially concerned that the enclosed condos might be too small for him. But he was able to get into both of them comfortably and clearly enjoys having the cozy hideaways. The openings looked small at first glance, but they work fine even for a bigger cat. The structure feels sturdy and stable once assembled, and the sisal-covered posts and ramp give plenty of scratching surfaces. The gray covering is more like a soft blanket than carpet and looks nice in the room. My box didn’t come with printed assembly instructions. I was able to pull up the product photo online and use that as a guide, and the pieces were straightforward enough that it wasn’t difficult to figure out. Awesome cat tree that my cats adore!!! The tree arrived quickly after I ordered it, within a couple days. The box was heavy, but my husband was able to get it in the house by himself. The tree was a bit different then I thought it would be. After you build the main body the brown part is actually like a giant sock that covers it from top to bottom. This is actually quite nice and the cats seem to like it better than the traditional type tree. The top bed is also removable and can be washed. The only downside is it took quite a while to build. It was a much more intensive build than I thought it would be. This is not bad, you just need to be prepared. My cats love these. We have two now, over for each cat, because the basket is their favorite part and they don't like to share. They are fairly easy to put together. I had a little bit of trouble orienting the process to the instruction booklet but that's a me-thing. It was missing one size of screw needed to securely fasten the center box.
