My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I really like this litter box. It was easy to assemble and seems stable and sturdy and motor seems strong when the cycle runs. The size of the litter box is smaller than a regular box but is definitely large enough for a large adult cat. I actually appreciate the smaller size because the box has a smaller footprint and takes less litter to fill. The only thing I wonder about is how long the liner will last because it’s made of what seems like a canvas fabric (reminds me of the fabric of an outdoor pillow) and it seems like this might get smelly after a while. I love how open it is. I kind of wish this one came with the step. Im not sure if the cats would use it, though. I already have one, and it has the front opening. My cats are both good size. This ones a little bit easier. I think for cats to go in and out of. Im not sure how long the bottom piece will last as it seems to be more material than hard plastic. I have had this now for about a month and I love it. I plan on getting another one and replacing the other one as they use this one most often. The other is the typical small opening and the waste draw is small and always needs to be adjusted as nothing falls forward and I can't find the right size bags, no company to order supplies from..
