We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. This semi-concealed, partial wrap or semi-wrap hinge has a lower profile than standard surface mount hinges, because the cabinet wing is not mounted to the face itself but instead wraps around the face frame on the interior. The added benefit of the wrap is a more stable installation to the cabinet. The styling and finish variety allows this hinge to be paired with wide range of cabinet types and color palettes.

As the hinges were well made, they did not fit my cupboard. I requested a return, they offered me a % back and keep the hinges or pay to have returned . I chose to get % back. This 1/4 Inch overlay double demountable hinge is a great replacement or upgrade to your existing cabinetry. These hinges are for retrofit only. Uses slots mortised into cabinet face and door for screwless door installation and removal; simply loosen or tighten the clamps as needed. Especially handy for frequent door removal or cleaning, or if staining or painting your cabinets will occur after installation.
