This is an easy to assemble fountain, producing a trickling sound that can be heard from a distance, even with moderate traffic, and a moderate amount of splash. This fountain has heavy components and may require lifting assistance.

I love, love this fountain! The bases are wide and don't topple when, for example, a cat or squirrel jumps on. The 3 tiers are not physically attached, so there is a lot of freedom in how you can arrange them (you'll need help moving the lowest basin, but an adult male can handle the other pieces alone). Most pedestal fountains have a rubber gasket sealing the hole where the pump cord goes, but this has a hidden tube above the waterline to pass the power cord through, so no seal is needed. This made it easy for me to replace the pump with a solar-powered one. I am not a fan of resin, and I really appreciate the "real" look of the stone. I ordered the 41x64 size, and it turned out to be perfect for the space above my couch, especially with an 11-foot ceiling—it really helps fill the wall nicely without looking too small or oversized.
