To better adapt to the changing world of light bulb technology, this control system features a CFL Auto-Detect feature that prohibits light dimming if non-dimming CFL bulbs are used in the fan. Wayfair has a superior Customer Service attitude, equal to or better than Lands' End. This was our first (but definitely not last) order from WF. It arrived exactly as pictured but a corner of the frame was cracked due to the staple used to join the pieces. I submitted a description of this defect and a request to return it for a replacement. Your online system handled everything and surprisingly did not request sending the defective item back. In fact you beat the expected delivery date by three business days! This level of customer service was not met by a competitor seller of movie posters who required returning the defective item, no problem, but paid for by us. Great design works great! However, its heavy had issues installing it. The fan comes with a base plate which secures it to the ceiling. The base plate adds 1 to 2 to the mount, so I had to go out buy longer bolts to secure it to the ceiling.
