I just put it together over the weekend and I have not installed the door yet. My first impression was the wood was brittle and prone to cracking. One of the window frames was cracked on delivery and I had to glue it together. I put it together by myself with some help from time to time. You have to be handy! So we have begun to assemble. It will look like a nice structure when completed. I like it BUT, It has horrible directions, making it painfully slow to assemble. Will need to use clear silicon to keep the ceiling from leaking, and possibly the sides as well. I will reinforce the structure in the corners and secure it to the ground (for hurricane/tornado season in Texas). Personally, I will choose to replace the strategic panels with clear plexiglass so I can see inside and through to the back, or look out, as the provided panels are 'frosted'.I hope the adjustments will render it as stable as I'd like because I am very happy with the size and it's cute.... This is a very nice kit. The most challenging thing in assembly is determining whether the instructions were showing the front or the back of the assembly. The compact greenhouse comes in many pieces. The stain seemed light, so I painted sealer on every piece before assembly. It took 2 people about 3 hours to put together. 2 days to stainseal. 6 months later, I love the greenhouse. Perfect size for my area. I think the sealant will help it last.
