Slats and center legs eliminate the need for a box spring, so all that's left to get is a mattress of your choice (sold separately).

I thought at first the pictures portrayed this bed a bit tallerbigger than it actually was.. but I realized my box springs for my bed are huge and if they were a few inches shorter, it would be perfect. You don’t need box springs, but I’d prefer not to crawl off the floor in the morning. The upholstery is soooooooo soft and the finishes aren’t like, the most pristinely installed… but I think you come to give and take some in some areas when you pay a good price for a bed frame.
