This wool rug is a stunner! It was shipped with 3 layers of plastic, which was a lot to remove, but worth it for the protection. It unrolled surprisingly well, with only a very small amount of curl remaining at the ends, which should settle quickly. The rug is very thick at about 3/4". Make sure you take that into account if it's going near any doors. I didn't, and now I have to shorten a door, but it will be worth it! I put a 1/4" pad under the rug. It's quite cushy. This rug exceeded my expectations! I wasn’t quite sure how the colors would look in my room, but they ended up being absolutely perfect. I never would have thought to put a rug on top of carpet, but it completely transformed the space. The rug arrived rolled up but laid flat immediately with no issues. I also appreciate the stitched edges, which give it a more finished, high-quality look. The pattern is beautiful, the colors are soft and elegant, and the overall quality is excellent for the price. I like this rug in person even better than I did on the website. It's thin enough that my front door will go right over the top of it. It came delivered in plenty of plastic which was good since it rained that day. I have put it in front of my door so that when it does rain we won't slip on the ceramic tile flooring. It's a beautiful color with plenty of blues especially the teal to match my couch and the tans to match my walls it picks up all the colors in my living room and looks great.
