The seat cushion and backing are soft velvet feel and legs sparkle especially in the sunlight. First chair was a lot easier to assemble but the second one wasn’t lining up well so there was a big gap in the back base so not sure how sturdy it will be. Eventually over time and lots of strength and force, I was able to close the gap but it’s definitely not as aligned as the other chair. I like this rug in person even better than I did on the website. It's thin enough that my front door will go right over the top of it. It came delivered in plenty of plastic which was good since it rained that day. I have put it in front of my door so that when it does rain we won't slip on the ceramic tile flooring. It's a beautiful color with plenty of blues especially the teal to match my couch and the tans to match my walls it picks up all the colors in my living room and looks great.
