Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. We just used small finishing nails to secure it as flat as we could to the ceiling. Then caulked around the edge. We did not end up painting it because our ceiling was already white.. Nicole. I bought this to compliment a chandelier that I also recently purchased from Wayfair see attached pictures and I love it. It was inexpensive, well made and very attractive. Best of all it is fairly light (less than 10 lbs.) As I have a cable installed in my attic which enables me to raise and lower the light for cleaning, I was able to make a quick jig using some scrap wood, apply construction adhesive to the back and pull the medallion up onto the ceiling rather than having to screw it to the ceiling using the hardware that was provided.
