This is the perfect complement to our new GE oven, it fits perfectly on the oven. We have not used it extensively but it will definitely make it easier to clean because you can remove it to clean. Our very small kitchen never had room for a dishwasher. UNTIL Now! This 18" is perfect for our kitchen and the two of us. Does a very good job of washing although I rinse all dishes before placing them in the machine. Its not a garbage disposal and I want it to last forever. I usually use the Rapid Wash setting which is a 1 hour wash/rinse/dry. I remember someone saying this machine is loud. It is not as loud as my toaster.
