This rug is great for taking the cold chill off a tile floor. It is well made. We have furniture setting on two corners so the rug would not move. I would suggest a non-skid pad on a hard surface just to prevent sliding if there is no furniture on it. The edges are sewn well so the rug lays very flat on the edges. We were concerned about a rug being a tripping hazard but this rug does not because it lays very flat. This rug is very high quality! It lays extremely flat right away. The pad I bought for under it isnt settled yet so you see those folds underneath.... but that will subside. This is much higher quality than Im used to so I will need to make sure I care for it properly with dogs and kids in the house. But overall, its very nice! I loved this rug!! I was super worried because I needed a massive one for our bedroom and after much deliberation I decided to go for this one. This is a king size bed for reference. I am glad I chose it!! its so soft to walk on feels luxurious and the light gray almost white spots really light up our room! It goes great with our decor. It is thick and although it came folded like an origami it unfolded nicely and has no creases. Looks expensive without breaking the bank! I highly recommend it dont hesitate to buy it Im glad I did and bought it with initial hesitation and concern. Didnt need to worry and you dont have to either!
