For the price it is worth it. The assembly was a little difficult with getting the screws to go for the second and third shelf, while trying to hold the pieces in place to line up the holes. The holes are very tight fitting, so a couple of screws almost didn't go in. I was on the floor using my all my limbs to do get this thing together. I had a ratchet allen wrench to do this assembly, if not, it wouldn't have worked out. I can understand why some people gave up. Forget trying to use the allen wrench that comes with it. It's very sturdy once together. There were two tiny chips off of the paint on one piece, but I can fix that. Overall, it works perfectly for displaying my pottery, so I like it.. Lucia. This sweet console exceeded my expectations. It was well packaged and arrived quickly. No problems assembling. Except for the hardware, you'd think it was an antique. Lovely wood grain and fabulous little details, worth every penny I paid and more. I got it in the nutmeg brown, which is a mid-dark tone; it fits well with my transitional style; I have a mix of furniture pieces--from antiques to, well, purchased-from-Wayfair.
