I love the color and design of this rug. Other places that sold this rug were sold out of this size, so I was happy to find it on Wayfair for a good price. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. This rug, in this size, is definitely more like a camping mat that you put on top of grass, sand or pebbles. It is 100% plastic and so when I laid it out on my porch, there was no grip and it slides around. I know I could put a rug gripper under it, but the sides are rippled and I dont think it will lay completely flat on a wooden surface. Despite having a generic name "Rug", compared to similar priced rugs this has a nice feel and quality. I ordered a similar rug and ended up going with this one because of the quality. For a low to medium pile carpet it has a nice plushness and a good density compared to similar rugs. It is tufted but it has a very clean finish. If you're looking for an abstract rug in the blue color range this is a good choice. I'd say the colors are a little less vibrant a little lighter than the picture (though I guess that's to be expected). Update I should have listened to recent reviews. This rug sheds and threads pull so easily I’ll be lucky if it lasts a year. Pretty color, super disappointing quality for the price. Original It’s new so I’ll update agin in 30 days but I’m super happy with this! The blue is not as teal colored as other reviews and photos indicated, but is a true navy imo. It’s soft, edge went down immediately , and it’s a nice heavy weight. I will want a new rug pad but that’s just my preference for plushness. Really hope it lasts and shedding is temporary.. Michelle.
