Purchased open box. Received cooler packaged horizontally. Fortunately, it works. No visible serial number on the external packaging. Also not a problem due to Wayfair, but reversing the door is nearly impossible and is still a work in progress. The small plastic filler/caps are extremely hard to remove. The caps breakoff leaving the filler in the threads. I only got 2 of the six out whole. I will need to somehow remove the plastic inserts without damaging the threads for the replacement screws.. Very nice looking wine refrigerator. Seems to be holding the set temperatures, but only time will tell how well it holds up overall. Keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts for many years to come. The reason for 4 stars is because when it was delivered they did not remove the packaging or the pallet it was on. I assumed since I paid to have it delivered to my room of choice that they would unpack it for me, but they did not. Luckily my husband and I, with the help of my brother-in-law, were able to get it off of the pallet and remove all of the packaging. If I lived alone, though, I would have had to hire someone to help me or try to bribe the delivery guys, I guess. Also I wish the shelves had a tiny bit more space between them, as it’s kind of a tight fit for some of the bottles. Each of the 8 hardwood shelves can support the weight of up to 30 regular size bottles stored flat, or be converted into display shelves to show off your favorite bottles. The racks can be removed or adjusted to accommodate larger bottles, so you are not limited in the types of bottles you can store. Two drawers at the bottom of the wine refrigerator allow for additional storage. Great packaging and arrived earlier than expected. This wine refrigerator was easy to install and looks great. The wood shelves are great quality and I like the stainless steel front. I was able to store standard Bordeaux bottles as well as Pinot Noir bottles. I also like the flexibility of being able to remove a shelf if I have even broaderwider bottles.
