The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. My only concern was range of the remote, which was not an issue, even at a sharp angle from my bedroom window at roughly 22 feet, so I was pleasantly surprised. I prefer this to a Pet Door because of the Remote option. She did not like pushing through the pet door that I first installed, and this was a great solution at a reasonable price. I also bought a Pressure Sensitive Mat that Chimes when she is inside and approaches the door so that I know when she wants to go out. Looks well made and sturdy.
