The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I added mesh wiring instead. The enclosure is 3 sided and backs up to the wall which works perfectly fine in our case as it gives us access to open and close our windows and shutters.. Arb65. Ca-usa. This is the Extra Extra Large size It’s very secure once assembled with the bolts and wingnuts, and clamps, that enclose the perimeter of the crate. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas.
