This Presidential Rocker is constructed from durable, weather-resistant HDPE plastic. It features clean-cut armrests, a spacious seat, and heavy-duty rocking legs for stable motion. Designed for low maintenance and outdoor use with a 350 lb weight capacity.

These patio rocking chairs looked easy to assemble at first since there weren’t many parts, but it ended up being more work than I expected. The material is HDPE plastic (not real wood like I originally thought), but it does have a wood-like look and feel. The Allen wrench they provide really isn’t enough — some of the holes weren’t fully pre-drilled, and a few had plastic covering them that I had to push through. The long screws are no joke either. Trying to put those in by hand will wear your wrist out fast. Thankfully, my son showed up right in the middle of me working on the first chair and brought an impact driver, which made a huge difference — although that’s still why the first one took me about an hour. The second chair only took around 30 minutes once I had the right tool. That said, the finished chairs are absolutely beautiful, sturdy, and very comfortable — just like the pictures. Large and sturdy. The cushion could use a tad more padding or maybe some memory foam mixed in, but overall it is comfy. Assembly would be easiest with 2 people due to the awkward shape. I also suggest putting rockers on after one support is on, so you don't have to undo all the bolts on the support to get the rocker piece lined up. First, a huge shout out to Wayfair customer service!! My original package was “lost” in transit with FedEx. I had to wait a week (to make sure it didn’t scan somewhere) but Wayfair sent a replacement and it arrived within three days. It arrived without any damage and all the pieces were present. It took me an hour (on my own and not hustling) to put it together with the provided tools. I’d say SUPER easy, given the heft of the thing. This thing is and the quality is fantastic. I read reviews prior to purchase and some mentioned a subpar cushion. I will admit that the part where it zips together in the dip is thin, but otherwise I find it extra comfy! I did order a few pillows ahead of time, so I have lots of extra padding. The rocker portion is a bit jerky, but not terrible. I honestly bought it to sit “long ways” and curled up in like a nest for reading books on my porch, so the rocking wasn’t a priority. Overall, I highly recommend this chair.
