This is very well made. I can tell it is durable based on components when installing which was easy. I don’t think it explains that the open desk part is not connected at all and can be adjusted. I had this desk for 4 years! It has a good amount of surface area and I like the storage cubbies. Not hard to put together. Be aware that the white top surface scratches very easily and even a couple drops of liquid will damage it.
