I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. This umbrella is amazing for the price! It is huge!!!! It has such good coverage! It took us 15 minutes to build and was very simple. The methodology is that you put two big sandbags on the bottom so it is sturdy and then they have a fabric that you cover the base with so you don’t see the bags which make this really flawless and beautiful. My only issue with this is that the color of the umbrella fabric is much darker than it showed in the picture. Besides for that I love this and I can’t wait to utilize this in my backyard!!. Ariella.
