I was genuinely impressed with the quality and appearance of the Proline 36" range hood. The stainless steel finish is beautiful, it feels very well built, and it gives the kitchen a high-end, professional look. The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, I had to return it because of my home's ventilation limitations—not because of the hood itself. This hood really performs best with an **8- to 10-inch duct**, whereas my kitchen only has a **6-inch duct** and significant space constraints that made modifying the ductwork impractical. If you have the proper duct size and adequate installation space, I would absolutely recommend this hood. It's an excellent product. Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. I am giving this five stars because everything came intact. I could see once I get it up it will be exactly what I wanted. However, I was not thinking when I ordered it that my thermostat would be in the way. The reason why I do not have a picture of it fully up yet is because now I have to figure out how to bring it out at least by 2 inches so when the door slides back it will not interfere with the thermostat. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out I'm thinking about getting a 2x4 board to go across my wall and then I think I could attach everything else. I can only review this on look and packaging at this time because I haven't been able to install it yet. But it came nicely packaged and it looks like it has everything I need to install it. I got it because I have a smaller shower and it was the only one I could find that would fit. Which from the look of it, it will. It is a really nice, sturdy door, and it pivots instead of slides.
