Ordered this door for a bedroom, fits pretty good. When the door arrived it had a little damage but decided to keep it and repair damage. We didn't paint it before it was hung. Only drawback is that it is VERY fragile, the finish as it chips super easily. My husband dropped one of the hinges and it bounced and hit the door and left a big chip in the black finish. The only issue I had with them were they were so heavy for me to install myself - I had to hire a contractor to put them up which cost more money than the closets unfortunately! We initially wanted a pre-hung door but didn’t find what we wanted. We bought a lovely black slab door (also from Wayfair) and this entry frame. My carpenter husband was definitely skeptical and was anticipating a flimsy product and a problematic install. He was wrong. This frame came extremely well packaged and is a well built, solid frame.
