Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. It wasn’t the easiest thing to install but it also wasn’t the hardest. You have to do every single thing because it’s customizable to which way you want it to open. Door does fit opening as advertised. I subtracted a star due to the wood being fragile. During install we cracked and dented it quite a bit on the bottom. We were very careful but it still kept happening. Thankfully it is at the bottom and most people won’t notice. I suggest wrapping bottom in rags or something while you are installing and when it’s setting on the floor and you are screwing parts into it.
