I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. I like that fact that the door can fold flat against the wall and be out of the way. It works perfectly in the space like I envisioned it. The only thing that took a star from my review was that the knobs were not as pictured and the knob screws included were too short to be used. Not a big issue and can be easily fixed by using something else to replace. Just an fyi… a door frame doesn’t come included so I needed to figure something out on my own to install the door. The frame issue was probably just me misunderstanding the description of the included parts and my misconception that it would be included. All of our patio chair covers are made of premium oxford cloth with PU coating which makes them super heavy-duty and super waterproof.

So far I am happy with these black swivel chair covers. They have been useful for keeping the pollen off my furniture, as it is that time of year! They arrived at the end of a rainy day so I haven't really put the waterproofing to the test but they seem like good quality. I like that they have the cinching on the bottom (in the back) to keep them in place when it is windy.
