These are heavy and well made but unfortunately we can't use them with our sliding door. They stick out too far from the wall. But I purchased them because I didn't want to screw the door glide into my new hardwood floor and these go into the baseboard. The frame issue was probably just me misunderstanding the description of the included parts and my misconception that it would be included. Even though they cost a bit more than other swivel stools, I knew I wouldn’t be happy with something else because my search kept going back to these. The cost was worth it and they are very stylish and look expensive while being comfortable. Assembly was a piece of cake and so easy.
