I gave it a four because it did not explain this well and I did a lot of extra work before I realized the issue! Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. The door is beautiful and not a farm house type of look like I was worried, it’s more classy and adds a lot of charm and texture. It’s not overly heavy, pretty straightforward to put up.. Jennifer.
