I had the door professionally installed. I purchased 5 lag bolts , header board , a sander , weatherizing stain to color it grey, spray poly. I was initially disappointed when assembling because some of the boards were cut short and I can see tiny gaps in the wood but it is a heavy door that was a bit of a project. The handle is great and on the other side of the handle there is an intention so you can push the door from the other side. We did not install the lock latch but it is a very solid piece. We’ve been very happy with the Gardnertown 26” swivel counter stools. They look far more expensive than they are and fit perfectly at our kitchen counter. Assembly was quick and easy. Their design works nicely in modern or transitional spaces, and we’ve received several compliments. The 6mm tempered frosted glass is up to four times stronger than regular glass. These doors allow full access without taking up the floor space of a traditional swing door. The frosted glass design allows for privacy as well as natural light to enter the room.
