Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. I’m so happy with how beautiful this door is, it completely elevated the look of my closet! It’s such a simple change, but it made a big difference. Just a heads-up the door does not come with a pre-cut hole for the doorknob or hinges. Thankfully, my husband was able to handle that without any issues. This is a great door and exactly as pictured and what I needed for my bathroom linen closet. I haven’t been able to hang it yet due to not having the tool to cut the hole for the door handle and hinges but the door came in perfect condition and is primed nicely.
