I just purchased 2 sets of this Caphalon Cookware as gifts for my daughters. I have owned the same set for over 17 years and it is still going strong! Caphalon sells 2 space saver sets (a lower priced version and this set which is almost double the price). The difference is on the handle of each lid. The lower price version has a rubber handle that is not suitable for use in the oven. The lids on this (higher end) set have metal handles and can be used in the oven. Keep that in mind if you are considering the lower priced set as it is not as versatile. I love to cook and this has been my favorite set of cookware ever! I have an InSinkerator, so did not need the included drain cover and basket - but they look MUCH better than the InSinkerator drain ;). Note, the sink is very heavy. Handles are quite substantial and appear to be great quality. Knurled detailing is well done. Finish is a light brass tone and more blonde than a lot of the popular cabinet pulls w/ “gold” brass finish.- not a perfect match but still compliments well. Handles are very large & will make a bold statement. (bar is 1.25” dia. And angled ends are 3”d, taper from 2.5”-1.3” & 1.5” wide where it meets appliance and 7/8” covering bar. If you are ordering for a panel ready appliance you need a 3”w frame for it to look right. DOES NOT COME W/Brackets Needed to Attach to Appliance.
