Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one.
