I ordered this beautiful door, I received a door within a week, unfortunately it was the wrong door, sent it back with ease from Wayfair and re ordered the door, wrong door again, Wayfair graciously picked up the wrong door, I ordered the door from another company to see if i had the same experience , again the wrong door, I believe the company that Wayfair buys it from is confused. Needless to say I had to switch doors, ordered from another company and still have not received my door after 2 months, what is with barn doors? Good quality for the price. I needed a 4' sliding door for a storage room in my basement. I thought of building one myself, but the price of the materials and hardware would have been highter than the cost of this kit and everything needed came in the box. I put a coat of polyurethane on the parts before assembly. Assembly was straight forward but not easy. It would probably be easier with a smaller door. Getting the tongue and groove panels lined up was a bit of a challenge with so many of them required. I'm happy with the result. It's a good solid door and it's easy to open and close.. Dan. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. I’m so happy with how beautiful this door is, it completely elevated the look of my closet! It’s such a simple change, but it made a big difference. Door is as stated in description so if that is what you need, this door will serve the purpose. The craftsmanship and quality of the door itself is fine. However, doors are shipped in plastic wrapping with cardboard on the ends so they are not well protected in the transit process. We did have one that arrived damaged and had to be replaced.. Chris. DO NOT BUY THIS DOOR. IT is NOT as advertised. First, it is not ready to hang. It is unstained AND it is completely not sanded, everything is rough to the touch. There is also bad spots all over, with poor craftsmanship. Complete waste of money and I can't get my money back. The color is completely off too!!! I don't know what happened :(. Matthew. I'm obsessed with my new doors! Exactly as pictured. I love the texture and quality. You do have to assemble the doors, but it was easy with clear instructions. The only issues I had was with mounting the railing. My studs weren't 16 inches apart to meet up with the pre-drilled holes. These doors are heavy so you have to make sure you put the bolts in studs. I thought about a header board but that would've made a larger gap between the door and the wall. So I drilled new holes in the railing to place the bolts in studs (which wasn't as easy as I expected). The gap between the door and wall is about 3/4in without a header.
