For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. It wasn’t the easiest thing to install but it also wasn’t the hardest. You have to do every single thing because it’s customizable to which way you want it to open. I like that fact that the door can fold flat against the wall and be out of the way. It works perfectly in the space like I envisioned it. The only thing that took a star from my review was that the knobs were not as pictured and the knob screws included were too short to be used. Not a big issue and can be easily fixed by using something else to replace. Just an fyi… a door frame doesn’t come included so I needed to figure something out on my own to install the door. The frame issue was probably just me misunderstanding the description of the included parts and my misconception that it would be included.
