This worked perfectly between the playroom carpet and the old oak floors in the hallway. For some reason, the carpet installer (all those years ago) had not used anything for the threshold, and the cats had been pulling out the carpet next to the wood. This piece solved the problem! Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close!
