I had the door professionally installed. I purchased 5 lag bolts , header board , a sander , weatherizing stain to color it grey, spray poly. I was initially disappointed when assembling because some of the boards were cut short and I can see tiny gaps in the wood but it is a heavy door that was a bit of a project. The handle is great and on the other side of the handle there is an intention so you can push the door from the other side. We did not install the lock latch but it is a very solid piece. It wasn’t the easiest thing to install but it also wasn’t the hardest. You have to do every single thing because it’s customizable to which way you want it to open. By the time I got to the pivot things you tap in I was DELIGHTED to not have to do my own pre-drilling. Make sure you have power tools to assemble this. In the end, I am happy to have found this.
