Once you have everything set up and you have basic carpentry knowledge, this door is easy to install. It takes about 2-3 hours for the whole process including putting the hardware on the door and hanging it. All of the hardware that came with this door is great quality. There were detailed instructions with pictures and the notch for the lock was pre cut. This is a hollow door but it’s very sturdy and heavy. It doesn’t feel hollow. And the lock is actually a lock. We did use some glue, even though the instructions didn’t say so but my boyfriend likes to make sure things are secure. The glass is not see-through. And opaque so we are using it for a bathroom. First, these doors are nice and solid. A little on the heavy side, so I am glad I wasnt installing these on my own. They are primed to a gloss so have to be sanded before painting, which is a little annoying, but it is what it is. They are not pre-hung, so you will not get any frame panels with them and as a result, the hinges dont sit recessed. When I read no hardware, I understood no hinges, handles, etc. which I was fine with as I had my own, but no frames would have been an issue if I didnt have the ones from the doors that didnt show up from the previous order that was cancelled (different vendor). They were delivered super quick which I appreciated and packed well. They did have some cosmetic issues that were from the factory (not FedEx), but not enough for me to go through the hassle to send them back. It was like each door had at least one nick in it!
