It wasn’t the easiest thing to install but it also wasn’t the hardest. You have to do every single thing because it’s customizable to which way you want it to open. By the time I got to the pivot things you tap in I was DELIGHTED to not have to do my own pre-drilling. Make sure you have power tools to assemble this. In the end, I am happy to have found this. This worked perfectly between the playroom carpet and the old oak floors in the hallway. For some reason, the carpet installer (all those years ago) had not used anything for the threshold, and the cats had been pulling out the carpet next to the wood. This piece solved the problem!
