On firm side, but very comfortable! This is for a spare bedroom. This mattress is a narrow double mattress by two inches . It's 52 inches wide instead of 54. I though a double mattress was a double mattress. Not so. I have to push the mattress to one side and put blankets or rolled-up towels in the space on the other side in case my granddaughter would fall out so she didn't come down on the makeshift ledge that the shortage of 2 inches creates. Very tight tolerances, to install, but absolutely stunning. We have taken one star off because the water pressure on the bidet is not as strong as we are used to, but it still does the job. Also, The toilet seat is very easily scratched, in the month since it’s been installed and I wonder if there is a way to replace it in the future, if needed. And it looks amazing in the room!.
