I ordered this beautiful door, I received a door within a week, unfortunately it was the wrong door, sent it back with ease from Wayfair and re ordered the door, wrong door again, Wayfair graciously picked up the wrong door, I ordered the door from another company to see if i had the same experience , again the wrong door, I believe the company that Wayfair buys it from is confused. I got 2 of these doors for office and massage room in a salon wanted something to match the existing metal door frames with glass these doors are gorgeous took off one star because one of them arrive kinda bent my dad and my brother had to strong arm it to bend it a little back in shape and also the hardware it brings isnt great quality. We had to buy stronger screws that could hold up better than the ones sent in the box. We had to modify a floating rail to actually fit this door into the space because there wasnt any space above the door frame to put the rail but my cousin figured it out. So the board is not necessary, just was for aesthetics. Love the glass on the door so it allows the light to come through when it is shut and keeps the rooms bright vs being a solid door.
