We have been very happy with our Cafe' dishwasher since installation. It is very quiet and performs very well. We haven't had to rewash anything yet. Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. We really like the way it cooks salmon fillets using the Speed Cook technology -- a combination of upper halogen element, the lower element, convection and microwave. Pretty amazing. The nice exterior design looks good in our kitchen, right above a conventional Cafe wall oven. We purchased this oven to replace our previous (almost identical) 240V Advantium Custom Speed Cook oven. We appreciate most of the subtle display firmware/software improvements in the new VS1 design compared with the older NS1 model, which we replaced due to odd rebooting every few weeks. We loved the older model (other than the reboots) and appreciate the new one even more, except for the relatively loud alert sound when we open the door to check the temperature of something we are cooking.
