We bought this for the foot of our king-sized bad. It's good-looking and sturdy, and it took only about 30 minutes for two of us to assemble. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the very last thing we did was use wood screws to attach the legs to the cross pieces and the last screw went clear through and pierced the right front leg. It's almost imperceptible, but annoying. Also, we picked the natural color and expected variations in color and grain. However there's a black streak in the grain of the back piece. Update after a year the wood filler that was slapped over the knots at the factory has begun to seriously crack. I’ve put more wood filler in but unfortunately it’s not holding together. There are now large cracks developing all over, the crack in the arm has worsened to the point I think it’s going to affect the stability shortly. So I guess I spent 1200 for something that only held together for a year. Too bad, it was cute while it lasted. Original review This worked out great for our space. The wood quality is overall pretty good, there are a few knotty spots that were obviously filled in at the factory, and one of the arms has a crack in it, but it’s not a deal breaker.
